I Funny a Middle School Story Blog 5

After all the problem with Stevie and his buddies ganging up on Jamie, he got over it then wanted to focus on achieving his goal which was being a comedian of course.  So he was really thinking about how to step up his game to prepare to perform in front of people on a stage.  Jamie all of the sudden thought it would be a good idea to get peoples attention in class and crack jokes there as a starter.  He started talking about the Statue of Liberty, and the class is really just with his friends such as Gaynor, Pierce, and Gilda.  Like every other teacher doesn't accept what Jamie is doing, and then writes him up a detention.  It was really different for him because he's really a geek that doesn't really make any trouble around school.  I think he had like a hour detention, well it was more then like 25 minutes, and then of course his adoptive brother was there.  He took up at least like 10 min and talk to one of the staff about the incident that cause him to be in that position.  It got to the point where he was talking about how he has to get home.  Then the staff was stopped herself from talking about Jamie's condition, and didn't  want him to walk home at night cause that was like around the time he has to be released.  Jamie got his way of getting the staff to let him go early, and so the staff agreed.  But Jamie stopped himself, and told the staff to let Stevie go with because he "helps" him get home.  It was very unexpected for Jamie letting Stevie get out of detention early.  The both walked out,  and Stevie shows appreciation by punching his arm then leaves.
First what Jamie in class is like something similar every kid does in school.  What I mean is like, theres always gonna be that moment where you do everything you can to show off and impress people.  But it's ok because Jamie only did it to see if he has the courage to say something in front of people.  This book is more about a kid making his way up to a goal to entertain people, so there isn't really any conflict.  The conflict from what I read is man vs man.  It basically only happens when Stevie appears.  I still have a lot of of things I have to inform you about cause I'm almost half done with the book.  I'm still liking the book, and I'm still getting connections here and there.  I enjoy this book.  I don't find it horrible, and I don't find it boring.  See you in blog #6.

I Funny a Middle School Story Blog 4

After a while, he goes to New York.  He talks about how crazy it is to be in the NYC life.  He bought a lot of stuff, and things thats very popular from New York is the design "I ♡ NY".  For a second he thinks about his his favorite Uncle and decides he's gonna find a Yo-Yo thats says "I ♡ NY" , well because his uncle was a a expert on those kind of stuff.  After going through a journey of New York, he returns.  Then it got to the subject where he was introduced into a new friend.  His friend Pierce knew her in this lab thing.  I'm not sure but I think it was the girl that he liked, he started to get nervous, and started to non stop sweating.  But then they turn out to have a lot in common and the girls name was Gilda Gold.  I never expected them to be such a like.  They started talking bout comedians, and started to act like them and act like them.  I predict they will end up being together, they are like perfect for each other.  But before that subject something tragic happened between Jamie and Stevie.  Stevie went to Long Beach to look at the stars to escape reality.  But he already had a bad feeling something will happen.  As he tried leaving 3 guys blocked him from front to left and right.  Stevie and his buddy's wanted to give hime a rough time.  Stevie came up with the idea to throw him off his wheelchair and have him helpless.  So from then they did what they planned and he was just stranded on the floor.  He didn't want to look stupid and yell out for help. But then the unexpected happened.  Jamies Uncle was there playing with his Yo-Yo and singing to music.  He sees what happened and he had to carry him to his house.  Jamies family worries and sees them come out the door, and sees Stevie as the last person of the people who came outside.  He didn't wanna to have a worst beating so he didn't rat Stevie out so he'll just start another new day.
Man to be honest, that sucks always having to deal with someone who always give you negativity, and knowing you can't do nothing because you don't have that capability to fight back.  I have a big connection to that, it's not really fair for that to happen.  But it's pretty good that Jamie doesn't let anything or anybody bring him down.  It's like he always wears a smile, even if it hurts he smiles because times will get better soon.  This guy is strong, he is really strong.  I would've gave up everything if I was in his position.  When is Stevie gonna realize that doing that stuff to him is not even cool?  Like people are gonna see how it is for people someday and turn different. But Stevie is a whole different person so I don't think he'll change for anyone.

"Would We Be Killed" and "Life on the Rez"

It was difficult for some of the chiefs, because the Americans have informed them that they were going to take them to a school and tach them language.  But as they been sent to a school, it was something that Ota Kte's didn't really expect.  He had to be teach how to be something else other than living as a Native American,  they taught him how Americans act, talk, what they ware, and what they are known for.  The mission for the Americans Ota realized is that they want to take away Native Americans there beliefs, clothing, language, and create the young kids in their own image.  It has even been said in the article on page 12, "Pratt believed that the children need to completely abandon their "Indian-ness" in order to succeed in America.  This proves that the Native Americans youth have been taken from their tribes, and been taught to be something else to leave there own race to fit in with another race.
Luther had something different compared to what Shanice has because Shanice could decide what she wanted to be, but Luther had to be forced to be from an Native American to a full grown wealthy American. Shanice was like other races, kept her pride of being a Native American, and wanted to have an education to be successful. The only thing that Shanice and Luther have something similar, is that they felt different being somewhere that they rarely go to. It was different for Luther to be reminded that he has to be a American, and Shanice felt different because she was at college to be a success. But around those times Luther was forced to do what they want, and for Shanice U.S.A. is more peaceful now then it was back then. So she had more options to do what Shanice wanted then what Luther wanted.

I Funny a Middle School Story Blog 3

After the last blog of blog #2 he explains more about his family.  It turns out he was actually adopted, but these people aren't really like any other family.  They don't really smile they don't really have like any fun in them.  But the biggest problem that he has to go through is that his family adopted another son.  Which turns out to be his bully Stevie.  It seems so shocked to him about who is gonna be all close and get to hurt even more because Stevie will have the ability to get closer to his prey(Jamie).  So he is still on his road to glory of being a comedian.  He shows his room that is actually in a  garage. He even says this is where he'll have extra back up wheels and he did so much in the garage he stays in.  He explains that this is where he finds and reads most books to become a comedian.  He has this desk where he focuses and make joke books that he made himself like in stacks.  So then it had to come the point where he was trapped because Stevie was already knocking on Jamies door.  He started to think of the possibilities that Stevie will do to Jamie and he had no choice but to feel like he couldn't go anywhere.  He doesn't talk about what happen after Stevie knocked on his door to his room, but he did mention that he found a way to make money from his talent.  He goes to this beach called long beach.  He says its called that because its like a mile or something crazy like that.  He talks about everything he sees here and then has this little things where he will crack up people from a joke and make them laugh  for like about 53 cents. Then on he know he was catching up.
So over spring I had some goals that I didn't complete but I've gotten further in the book as you can see.  It's been kind of so long,  I was really enjoying my spring break too much I have forgotten to read.  But there will be more to talk about what I have read.  I noticed that he's not only a slacker or a joker, but he is very creative.  Like even his jokes, but I saw a part in Jamie that he was actually pretty smart.  Like when he came to the beach he says there are so many faces he sees, Hispanics, Germans,  Italians and more.  So he comes up with a name for the beach as the United Nations Beach.  I honestly thought it was creative and clever.  Like not a lot of people have a gift of being creative but everybody has a talent to show to the world.  But then I don't know how he is like strong,  he knows he has a lot to go through but he has fun even when it comes to something negative.  Like being disabled from below,  having adoptive parents who look like they don't have a soul, and having your local bully as your adopted brother?  Man he has a lot of heart not to even go to the point where he wish he was in another place.  But then to the subject about the beach I feel like it's another beach that is actually real but I think it is, I honestly don't really know,  there might actually be a real  beach called long beach,  or im just really stupid to not know a popular beach that everybody's knows.  But so far in the book it seems very smooth I still have a lot to get into from the pages I have read, see you in blog #4.

I Funny a Middle School Story Blog 2

Right after the first blog it went to his two good friends.  The ones who been there for him to get him up, like literally get him up after Stevie  punched him.  Right after that he introduces them.  He talks about what type of person they are.  Gaynor has a lot of tattoos and piercings.  Pierce is the person to tell you the rumors and the news and everything.  So he understand a lot of things from school like I kinda have a big connection between the book and me.  Like everything that I see in school is what he talks about, well some of the things.  The rubbery pizza, and the sawdusty stuff the sprinkle around the puke puddle.  It was like he knew the same thing.  But then he gets to the zone where he talks about his crush and how he would talk about her and she'll never notice him.  He doesn't really have hope or confidence for himself.  Like he didn't exist.  He mentions about his uncle owning a diner.  He is for sure doing everything he could to show that its the best place ever.
I have like change feelings for this book, because like I said I don't know if i like it that much but its good enough to have me feel like I'm not alone.  Compared to other books are probably guys in there mid 30's trying to come up how school is for kids, but this one is not like other books.  Well maybe this one book I was gonna read but end up being too much for me; if i put more time to this book then it's probably gonna end up my just write book.  I wonder if this book will be in color.  I like it, I would recommend to anybody who is the type who is not use to reading that much, or just hate a lot of big books that talks about science fiction and a track star winning a golden trophy.  Not a lot of books are like these, this kind is a little more interesting.

Tolerance

Tolerance= Ability or willingness to allow the existence, occurrence, or practice of something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.

The things I'll do to have tolerance, is to think before I say or do something.  I have to understand why they wanna be what they choose to be.  If something makes people happy I'm gonna have to accept it cause I wasn't raised as someone who will have hatred on someone for what makes them happy.  I really have no problem with gays,  it's their decision in their lives, and choose what they wanna do because they shouldn't change who they are because someone has a problem with it.  If someone chooses to be different then other then thats them, why should people judge people for what makes them happy?  If they want to be a homosexual then thats them.  I will never look down on anybody if they are gay or lesbian.  People really have to accept what someone is interested in.  Nobody should make the people decisions for them.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul Blog 2

From the last blog a lot has change of me not blogging I apologize, but I'll try to explain of what happened from there.  After Gregs mom set on the spanish learning CD to make the trip more educational that Greg really dislikes, he is still in the back of the car with all the stuff his family brought a long to the trip.  But as it was getting over he started to get hungry.  His mother gave him a bag that was really much for 5 year olds, that had his name in cursive and a fruit and a sandwich.  He is still bummed out that everything around him always makes events turn out the way they are not to.  But every little things that happens he has a connection.  But then to the storyline they needed to find things to get from the grocery store and a motel to stay in.  His big brother Rodrick was volunteer to get the supplies to make sandwiches for the family to eat but turns out he does the opposite...  During the time Rodrick was in the store they had a problem with the little brother Manny.  Manny has a problem of going crazy when someone interrupted his sleep.  So then they do everything to stay quiet and get the food they needed for the trip.  But as always Rodrick does the opposite of what they tell him to do.  He gets what he wants from the store for the family everything that he likes instead of groceries that involves them being healthy for the family.  But then short story long.  They go through crazy events when the events are still horribly boring.  But at the end of every book theres always a happy ending.  So Greg finally gets home from staying in the car, from going to the ugly motel, from going to a festival, and then to home.
Well to be honest i feel bad for Greg,  like he is on a trip to have fun not to learn even more.  I would've give up on everything if someone had to be very educational about everything.  Well his mom should just understand they should do something their kids enjoy.  I see how their mom wants to be educational and all but there is such thing as school we have to go through for 14 years.   But then through out all the education its still for the youths future.  But then its good that every end to the history of something very opposite you expected, always have its moments that you know you enjoy and appreciate to be there with that someone.
From what i read,  I feel that the message is that you should appreciate every moment you have with somebody.  Well not really but I seek that in it a little.  But it's something like I said in the last paragraph.  Well I notice it always happens in every Diary Of  A Wimpy Kid book I read.  They always begin by something going his way, then to something thats gonna ruin all of Gregs of his plans, then on to the part where
